Brisbane City Council’s Development Services branch are about to recruit formally for several Plumbing Officer positions. We are actively looking for experienced Plumbers who are motivated by the opportunity to work for one of the largest local governments in the Asia-Pacific region, and who want a variety of work that can’t be experienced in any other corner of our State.

What makes our Plumbing Officer positions so unique?

• work on large-scale, high profile, city-shaping development with a mix of domestic, government and commercial projects – you won’t get stuck looking at the same thing over and over again!

• help shape the industry – you are considered a leader in the field and are in a position that helps to problem solve, uplift knowledge and capability and make recommendations that may be adopted across our City and State

• along with conducting inspections, assessing plans for building plumbing services, providing ‘as constructed’ information, compliance certificates, permits, notices and reports, you also audit and investigate works

• you’re part of a branch of 300+ other professionals who work across the development lifecycle that are equally motivated by the variety of city-shaping opportunities they have at Brisbane City Council

Minimum requirements: Plumbing Officer positions require occupants to hold a current Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Licence, C Class Driver’s Licence as well a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
